Let's Talk Milk

$10.00

Wednesday, April 16th from 5:30-6:30pm

In this class, we are going to discuss all things milk- because when was the last time you thought about your milk? As one of America’s top household beverages, there is a lot that we take for granted, a lot that we don’t question, and milk is much more than it seems.
From percentages to pasteurization, homogenization, A1/A2, goat, and of course- covering a myriad of ways to consume milk products.
There will be taste testing(!), and kefir grains available for sale.
If you’re not sure what that means, even better, it will be fun to learn!

Amera grew up on a Jersey dairy farm in WI, and has been in love with milk and milk products her whole life. Since having a Jersey cow again while living in North Carolina, and milking her twice a day- by hand- she has reconnected with the importance of fresh, unadulterated milk and is passionate about sharing information about this animal superfood. As well as creating nourishing, fun, and functional milk products such as yogurts, kefir, cheeses, whey, & butter!

Cafe will not be open for service during the class. There will be snacks.
