Description: This class will invite you to examine your relationship with food and create new connections to the act of consuming food. Using Thich Nhat Hanh’s guide Making Space as a reference piece, we will examine the 5 contemplations of cooking and eating, experience a presence practice while tasting a few delicious dishes, and talk about the ways in which we can create healthier habits around our relationships to food, eating, and food preparation. Participants will leave with new knowledge, new connections, and a 8x10 laminated contemplation poster.
About your Facilitator: Kate Frautschy is an entrepreneur from NW Illinois who grows and crafts natural products and organic produce. She also offers nature based education and movement classes that specialize in cycles and connection. She is the owner of Eclectic Kate LLC & Co-Owner of Full Circle Cafe & Collective.
